This is based on a real life situation where Mom received flowers from her brother and was certainly surprised. David had been working on displaying different expressions, some in clay, some on paper so this was a timely exercise! What was really interesting was wen David drew this he did the last panel with Henna facing the picture on the wall. How intuitive! Thanks Uncle Ricky!

David has started taking horseback riding lessons at the Morning Star Farm Riding Academy. He’s learning how to use words to tell the horse what he’d like it to do. While outside with Dad, Dave saw that the red car needed to be cleaned.
He took it upon himself to go get the hose and rinse off the car. He did a great job!
Dave published his first month’s work!
As many of you know, David had landed a job to illustrate a comic strip for a monthly newsletter of a local business. January’s edition was published earlier this week! Dave was given the assignment, and got right to work.
