This is based on a real life situation where Mom received flowers from her brother and was certainly surprised. David had been working on displaying different expressions, some in clay, some on paper so this was a timely exercise! What was really interesting was wen David drew this he did the last panel with Henna facing the picture on the wall. How intuitive! Thanks Uncle Ricky!

David has started taking horseback riding lessons at the Morning Star Farm Riding Academy. He’s learning how to use words to tell the horse what he’d like it to do. Dave helps out around the house!
Earlier this week, Dave was hanging outside with Dad while Dad was cleaning up a few things around the house. We’ve had a lot of tree pollen fall, just after we got the driveway finally cleaned from last years leaves. While outside Dave noticed that the red car was dirty and he went and go the hose all by himself and started cleaning the car. So we drew about it! Dave did a great job both on the car and drawing the details of the comic strip.

While outside with Dad, Dave saw that the red car needed to be cleaned.
He took it upon himself to go get the hose and rinse off the car. He did a great job!
